Welcome to the Faculty Development Institute's homepage!
FDI is a collaboration among five colleges and universities on
Maryland's Eastern Shore, originally funded through a grant from
Maryland Higher Education Commission, and sponsored by the Eastern
Shore Association of College Presidents.
Our mission is to encourage and enable innovation in the
teaching-learning process, especially through the use of technology.
We do this via a collaborative network of instructional design,
development, assessment, research, and support services offered to
the faculty of our five schools. This environment of educational
innovation and collaboration extends and enriches our learning
community of faculty, students, and citizens of the Eastern Shore.
