Wayne Quigg

Retired Florida Revenue Program Administrator

Wayne Quigg worked in the State of Florida Unemployment Insurance Program for 34 years, retiring August 31, 2003. He held leadership positions of Deputy Chief of the Bureau of Appeals, Acting Chief of the Bureau of Tax, and Revenue Program Administrator. In 2002, Wayne worked with Senate and House staff to rewrite the Florida Unemployment Compensation Law. In addition, he recommended legislation to mandate electronic filing of tax returns and payments, which became law. Previously, as an administrative hearing officer, he conducted hearings on benefits and tax protests. In 1999, Wayne received the Leadership Award from the International Association of Personnel in Employment Security.
